From its UK base and through an effective global network, the company has ambitious plans for sales into the worldwide Flame-retardant plastics and polymer market, which will be realised through recent successful product development and a greater emphasis on direct market contact. Our client manufactures and markets a technically strong range of products which require detailed and innovative commercial leadership to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of their chosen sectors along with strong relationship building and a planned, systematic approach to ensure that ambitious business growth plans can be delivered.
Job Responsibility:
Significant growth of revenue and commercial activity across the international Flame-retardant markets
Manage and grow the business from its current base
Focus on the sale of the Company’s range of Flame-retardant synergists and polymer additives
Ensure product and service development is a key component of future growth
Collaborate closely both internally and externally to drive forward the extensive pipeline of commercial opportunities
Requirements:
Degree level or equivalent in Polymer Science, Engineering or a technical discipline
Track record of international solution selling of technical products
Commercial management experience
Strategic thinking
Strong teamwork
High level of integrity
Desire to build strong relationships both internally and externally
Experience in leading and managing both direct and indirect sales
Experience in personal development and successful closure of new business opportunities
