Your main role are: To develop, plan, specify, promote, coordinate and sell Promat range of fire protection products and systems directly within home market in Singapore.
Job Responsibility
To develop, plan, specify, promote, coordinate and sell Promat range of fire protection products and systems directly within home market in Singapore
Establish and build busienss relationships with key decision makers in the design and specification process to influence their choice of fire protection products and systems
Influence and educate Promat stakeholders in their knowledge and understanding of all Promat products and systems
Influence main and sub-contractors to use and recommend Promat systems for projects
Create a pull through of business and a 2-way flow of contract information through distributors, main contractors and sub-contractors/applicators to build up relationship with contractors
Launch new products by working with technical and marketing teams so that these products can be sold effectively to stakeholders
Runs the day-today sales activities
Execution of Business Plan to achieve company targets
Report activities and progress on a weekly/monthly basis, or as required
Always exercise cost effectiveness and efficiency practices in conducting tasks
Actively involved in the market throught customer discussions, seminars, consultant visits, site visits, professional membership, trade show etc. to keep abreast of latest market and design trend, product development and technologies in the industry
Monitor competitors' products and conduct detailed technical analysis on a regular basis. Acquiring and record competitors' product information, new systems, market trends and legislative requirements
Requirements
Possess a Diploma in any field of Engineering (Mechanical and Civil), Architectural or Business Administration with 2-3 years of working experience in sales
Prior commercial experince in construction industries, preferably fire protection
Prior experience in import and export legislation, logistic, CRM related business is an added value
Negotiation and persuasion skills, ability to influence decision makers
Good in Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service approach
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated
Ability to manage and achieve sales target independently and proactively
Good communication in both written and spoken English
Other language skills will be an added advantage
Good time management in planning and organizing job, projects and strategies
Able to work under minimal supervision, independently and or as part of a team
Possess a positive attitude and good communication skills dealing with all relevant parties
