We are currently looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Technical Sales Engineer with a strong Hunter mindset to expand their automotive market presence in Hungary. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will not just sell products; you will act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging the gap between complex robotics engineering and the business needs of automated manufacturing.

Job Responsibility

  • New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify, target, and secure new manufacturing clients and system integrators within the automotive supply chain
  • Technical Consultation: Evaluate customer production lines and technical requirements to propose optimized robotic architectures
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with application engineers to develop concepts using 3D simulation software to prove the value proposition during pre-sales
  • Automotive Focus: Target the automotive market, specifically high-growth areas like e-mobility, battery assembly plants, and traditional powertrain/chassis production
  • Key Account Strategy: Build and maintain strong technical and commercial relationships with production managers, plant directors, and procurement teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven track record in B2B technical sales, industrial sales, or application engineering
  • A true Hunter personality with high energy, resilience, and a passion for opening closed doors
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, PLCs, machine vision, or factory layout planning
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing standards, production life cycles, and quality expectations
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Hungarian
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and manufacturing plants across the region

Nice to have

Experience with robotics simulation or CAD software is a huge advantage
