Job Description

Based out of the Penang hub, this field-centric role focuses on growing the brand’s footprint across northern manufacturing corridors by identifying factory upgrade opportunities and presenting advanced technical solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive direct sales and lead generation for injection molding machinery and automated robotic auxiliaries across the Northern region
  • Conduct regular on-site plant visits to understand factory constraints and suggest machinery upgrades
  • Deliver foundational technical presentations highlighting machinery production efficiencies and energy savings
  • Coordinate with HQ-based technical teams to align customer engineering needs with machine specifications
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, ensuring close follow-up with local clients through extended procurement cycles

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of technical sales, application support, or business development experience in a B2B industrial environment
  • Prior exposure to the plastics industry, industrial automation, or auxiliary factory machinery is a major advantage
  • Results-driven hunter mindset with a willingness to travel frequently for face-to-face factory meetings
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build quick rapport with factory managers
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Business, or a related discipline

Prior exposure to the plastics industry, industrial automation, or auxiliary factory machinery
