Job Description:

We're seeking a high-performing Technical Sales Director with a strong technical background to lead and grow a dynamic team of technical sales professionals. This is a player-coach role: you'll manage a team of Technical Sales Managers and Product Managers while also owning key accounts and driving your own quota.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals including Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and Technical Sales Managers
Drive revenue growth across a diverse customer base
Manage and grow strategic accounts
Collaborate closely with Product Managers transitioning into sales roles
provide coaching and sales enablement
Own and optimize the sales process using CRM, with plans to upgrade to a more robust CRM/ERP system
Partner with leadership to refine commission structures and implement accelerators
Report directly to executive leadership and participate in strategic planning

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in technical sales
At least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams
Proven success managing quotas and driving revenue in a high-volume, inbound sales environment
Strong understanding of technical products
Experience with CRM systems and e-commerce platforms
Comfortable with fast-paced environments and high session volumes
Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and team collaboration
