As a Technical Safety Engineer, you’ll join an energetic and expanding team, working on diverse and exciting projects across the globe. You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues to deliver innovative solutions for our clients in industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Clean Energy.
Job Responsibility:
Conducting qualitative and quantitative risk and safety studies for a variety of facilities, plants, processes, and operations
Delivering technical safety projects that add real value to our clients, both nationally and internationally
Applying your expertise in hazard identification, assessment, and evaluation techniques such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and Bowtie assessments
Utilising cutting-edge tools and software like SAFETI, SHEPHERD, PHAST, and FRED for QRA, fire, explosion, and toxic gas consequence modelling
Requirements:
A relevant science or engineering degree
1-2 years of experience in technical safety or risk management (broad experience or specialization in areas such as QRA, BRA, EERA, ESSA, FERA, or Facility Siting Studies is highly valued)
Strong analytical thinking, numerical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferable professional knowledge of the Dutch and English language (C1 or C2 level)
