Technical Recruiter owns the complete lifecycle of the hiring process across our Industrial Automation divisions in the United States and Canada as needed. In this role, you’ll take full responsibility for identifying, attracting, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent across engineering, skilled trades, and technical business units. From building sourcing strategies and partnering with hiring managers to managing interviews, offers, and onboarding, you’ll drive every stage of the recruitment process. You'll be instrumental in delivering a best-in-class candidate experience while ensuring we consistently hire top-quality talent that aligns with our business needs. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, strategic mindset to talent acquisition and thrive in an environment where they can make a direct impact on hiring outcomes. Note: This is a 6 -month contract position. This is a hybrid role—while we may work remotely, we are expected to attend in-person meetings at the office as required, as well as external hiring & employer branding events.
Job Responsibility:
Own and lead the full talent acquisition lifecycle for assigned requisitions, from requisition approval through offer acceptance
Partner closely with hiring managers during intake sessions to clarify role requirements, hiring priorities, regulatory considerations, and success criteria
Drive on‑time hiring outcomes by actively managing requisition progress, identifying risks to time‑to‑fill targets, and implementing corrective recruiting strategies for hard‑to‑fill and niche technical roles
Execute and coordinate all recruitment activities, including job postings, proactive sourcing, candidate screening, structured interviews, and selection processes
Lead and support advanced sourcing initiatives for difficult‑to‑fill technical roles, building sustainable talent pipelines
Manage interview logistics and coordination across multiple stakeholders
Oversee pre‑employment screening activities, including background checks and reference verification
Prepare and coordinate offer packages, partnering with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers
Represent ATS Industrial Automation at career fairs, industry events, and campus recruitment initiatives
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, and technical institutions
Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics, including time‑to‑fill, pipeline health, and requisition throughput
Support the broader HR and Talent Acquisition team through effective use of recruitment systems and tools
Partner closely with HR colleagues to ensure recruitment practices are fully aligned with business strategy
Apply the ATS Business Model (ABM) and continuous improvement principles to enhance recruitment efficiency
Requirements:
A post-secondary degree specializing in human resources or equivalent
5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
Strong experience sourcing, particularly using LinkedIn and other social media platforms
Previous experience using various recruitment management systems, such as Taleo and SuccessFactors
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience recruiting for technical roles, especially in engineering
