Job Description:

As a Technical Recruiter at Pomelo, you will own the full lifecycle of technical roles, from sourcing through offer stage. You’ll work closely with hiring managers across engineering, product, data, and design to support our highest-priority technical hires.

Job Responsibility:

Attract, source, and engage technical talent through a variety of creative sourcing techniques and platforms
Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, create clear competencies, and develop structured interview processes to minimize bias and maintain a high talent bar
Utilize a data driven approach to quickly iterate on recruiting processes
Build and manage strong pipelines for both current openings and future hiring needs
Provide a thoughtful, seamless candidate experience from first contact to final offer
Coordinate and schedule at all stages of the interview process
Become an expert in selling Pomelo’s story, our growth trajectory, business priorities, and culture

Requirements:

3+ years of full time recruiting experience with a focus on technical roles (e.g., software engineers, data scientists, product managers, designers)
Strong experience with direct sourcing tools and techniques (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem)
Deep understanding of recruiting best practices and how to build inclusive processes that drive equity and representation
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred)
Successful track record of hiring high quality candidates in a fast paced environment
Organized and proactive problem-solver that can drive initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with a team
