Bureau Veritas is looking for a Technical Recruiter to support the Southeast Asia Technical Centre who responsible for providing expert support to the business market of oil and gas, renewables, non-destructive examination, sustainability, cybersecurity and building & infrastructure. Successful candidates will leverage their expertise on talent identification and research, creating market trends, candidate pipeiline and talent pools to add value to technical sourcing functions. This role is critical in building a strong pipeline of qualified professionals to help us win projects and deliver excellence to our clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with bid managers, project leads and HR to understand manpower requirement for proposal
  • Maintain and grow database of technical professionals for future bidding needs
  • Use networks, industry portals and internal talent databases to source qualified professionals on short notice
  • Keep candidate engaged throughout the bid process, even before project award
  • Talent Sourcing & Attraction – Identify and attract qualified candidates for technical positions using a variety of job boards, networking as well as company applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Collaboration & Strategy - Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand their staffing needs, define job specifications, and develop targeted recruitment strategies aligned with business goals
  • Screening & Assessment - Review resumes, conduct initial screening calls, and perform technical assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and fit for the role and company culture
  • Interview Management - Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Offer Management & Onboarding - Negotiate offers with selected candidates and work with HR and concerned parties to complete the necessary administrative tasks for onboarding new hires
  • Market Intelligence - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and salary benchmarks to provide strategic advice and attract top talent
  • Pipeline Management - Build and maintain a strong database of qualified candidates for future openings to ensure a robust talent pipeline

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the technical disciplines and project lifecycles (PMC, EPC, EPCM etc) within the engineering sector ie. Oil and gas / power / chemical / energy etc within a multi-division organisation
  • Degree in any project management, engineering, aerospace, construction management or any related engineering disciplines preferred
  • Extensive years of experience working in any onshore / offshore / plant / construction site activities and coordination with manpower management
  • Has deep understanding of any engineering disciplines and experience working with a few major completed mega projects
  • Proficiency in using various recruitment tools and platforms, including ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media and specialized job boards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong abilities in negotiation for salary and benefits
  • Capacity to build strong relationships with candidates and clients
  • Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage your own workload and the recruitment process
  • Preferably candidates can be based in Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Proficiency in written and spoken of English, Bahasa and any other local languages
