We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Publications Manager to lead a dynamic technical publications team. In this role, you will oversee the preparation, production, and management of technical publications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and collaboration across global time zones. You will manage a team of skilled professionals, fostering a growth mindset and a collaborative work environment, while driving operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of technical writers, editors, and designers across multiple time zones

  • Oversee the creation, production, and reproduction of technical publications such as manuals, brochures, forms, and promotional literature

  • Manage the coordination of printing and binding activities internally and with external vendors
  • Review and approve graphic layouts, camera-ready art, and reproduction copy requests
  • Plan, schedule, assign, and review team activities to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Provide guidance and recommend process improvements to optimize workflows and align with business strategies
  • Prepare cost analyses for new programs and manage the publications budget
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and storage of printed and digital materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in technical publications or documentation management
  • Proven experience managing large teams, including exempt and non-exempt individual contributors
  • Demonstrated ability to manage global teams and work effectively across time zones
  • Strong project or team management experience, including strategic planning and execution
  • Advanced knowledge of technical documentation processes, tools, and standards
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and growth
