Seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead the design and development of a custom, in-house platform built specifically for our clients. This role will spearhead a greenfield initiative—starting from scratch—and guide the project through a 6–9-month development lifecycle. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders, a dedicated developer, an additional PM, and third-party technology partners to bring this system to life.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end delivery of a custom platform build from concept through launch
Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Collaborate with internal teams and external tech partners to align on system design and functionality
Drive discussions around system workflows, user experience, and business requirements
Oversee integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payroll, timekeeping, etc.)
Ensure smooth communication across all stakeholders and act as the central point of coordination
Get “in the weeds” with technical details, especially APIs and system integrations
Own testing and QA processes to ensure a high-quality product
Provide leadership and direction—acting as a key decision-maker and guiding junior team members when needed
Requirements:
5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in software or platform development
Experience leading custom or greenfield system builds
Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and technical workflows
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and third-party vendors
Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically (“in the weeds”)
Experience with QA/testing processes and release management
Strong communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority
Self-starter mindset—able to take ownership and run with minimal oversight
