Job Responsibility

Manage one or more Applications Development teams in an effort to accomplish established goals as well as conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications
Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations
Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results, participate in budget management, and handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project
Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary

Solid experience managing data or analytics projects end-to-end in fast-paced tech, SaaS, or consulting environment
Understanding of data models, ETL pipelines, and reporting systems
Comfortable discussing project timelines with stakeholders and schema design with developers
Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments with evolving definitions and ambiguity

Translate business questions into precise technical specifications
Monitor and manage project timelines, milestones, and dependencies
Identify and propose technologies or process improvements
Contribute to execution of Data Engineering vision

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline
10+ years of combined experience in software project management and technical systems implementation
Strong familiarity with connected vehicle platforms, mobile applications, and cloud-based backend services
Technical knowledge in: API architecture and tools: Understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, with hands-on experience using Postman, Swagger, and basic API management and testing tools

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of change requests, including technical assessment, scope definition, impact analysis, and solution feasibility
