Job Description

DEPT® is looking for a Technical Project Manager with solid Development and/or Scrum Master experience, ideally gained at a digital agency. You are driven by quality, goal-oriented, and you enjoy collaborating with designers, developers, DevOps engineers, and CRO specialists. As the central figure in each project, you coach, guide, and motivate the Scrum team to perform at its best. You’re well-versed in Agile methodologies and effortlessly organize Scrum events. Together with the Product Owner, you align on client expectations and monitor progress. You identify commercial opportunities, continuously improve processes, and strengthen team collaboration. We also expect you to contribute on a content and business level, taking on elements of a Business Analyst role. With your technical background, you can advise clients and evaluate implementations based on impact, effort, and value.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure that team capacity aligns with client needs and the shared roadmap
  • Understand the balance between delivering quickly and building long-term value
  • Adjust the team composition or improving processes if needed.

Requirements

  • Around 5 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master
  • Understand how a digital ecosystem fits together
  • Have experience delivering online applications on the agency side
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English
  • Have experience building and leading teams
  • Speak the language of designers, developers, and CRO specialists
  • Understand data driven working
  • Have experience with the Agile/SCRUM methodology and know when not to apply it
  • Spot commercial opportunities with clients and make sure they’re followed up
  • Adapt quickly and bring a strong can do attitude to the team.

Nice to have

  • Background in development is a plus
  • A background as a developer is a major plus
  • Experience with SFCC projects and other CMS systems such as Umbraco and headless CMS platforms.
