As part of the Project Management Team, your mission is to ensure the successful industrialization and stable serial production of our battery systems and related products. You act as the technical interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality, ensuring production feasibility, smooth ramp-ups, and the structured management of serial product changes. The role includes regular business travel and on-site visits to manufacturing partners.
Job Responsibility
Lead the industrialization process from validated concept to stable serial production
Act as the main technical interface for external manufacturers and key suppliers
Define manufacturing concepts, production processes, and ramp-up readiness
Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks in close collaboration with suppliers
Support technical supplier evaluations in cooperation with Purchasing and Quality
Conduct regular on-site visits to manufacturing partners to monitor progress and resolve technical challenges
Manage technical topics and engineering changes for products in serial production
Coordinate change requests with Purchasing, Quality, and manufacturing partners
Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities and impact assessments
Drive the resolution of field issues and supplier-driven changes
Support the transition from the project phase into Serial Life Management
Plan and coordinate timelines, resources, and risks related to industrialization and serial production topics
Ensure alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality
Track progress and support the continuous improvement of industrialization processes
Support automation initiatives within the manufacturing environment by coordinating technical requirements and interfaces
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering
Several years of professional experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering, or technical project management within an industrial environment
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production lines, and collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing partners
Proven experience supporting the ramp-up and serial production of technically complex products
Strong technical understanding combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
Comfortable working in an international environment and willing to travel regularly to manufacturing partners
Fluent in English
Nice to have
German language skills are highly valued
Hungarian is considered a plus
