Job Description

Capstone IT is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support a large-scale ERP modernization initiative for one of our enterprise clients. This is a fully remote contract opportunity with a collaborative team focused on replacing a legacy ERP platform with a modern enterprise solution.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for a large ERP modernization effort
  • Partner closely with the client's Program Manager and the ERP vendor's Project Manager to ensure successful project execution
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, and potential roadblocks while driving collaborative solutions
  • Coordinate activities across technical and business teams to maintain project momentum
  • Support a primarily Waterfall delivery model while working effectively with teams using hybrid Agile practices

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Technical Project Management experience
  • Experience leading enterprise technology projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, communication, and risk management skills
  • Technical background sufficient to understand complex implementation efforts (hands-on technical expertise is not required)
  • ERP implementation experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience working within Waterfall and/or hybrid Agile environments
