Citi is seeking a candidate for the position of Client Connectivity Integration Specialist. This is a hands-on, technically-oriented role sitting at the intersection of infrastructure, integration engineering, and client engagement — ideal for someone who has built real-world experience and is ready to deepen their expertise in financial services connectivity. You will be embedded in a team that owns the end-to-end connectivity lifecycle for Citi's Prime Brokerage and FDC clients — from initial setup and testing through to ongoing support and enhancement. You'll work directly with clients' technical counterparts to design, configure, and troubleshoot integration solutions, while collaborating internally with technology leads and business stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end SFTP/SWIFT/API connectivity setup
Capture, document, and validate integration requirements for each client onboarding or change request
Read and interpret network diagrams and integration workflows
Use Unix/Shell scripting to investigate file transfer issues
Leverage SQL to explore data configurations
Utilize AI tooling to supplement technical gaps
Identify, document, and escalate issues
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external clients
Provide clear, timely status updates to internal technology leads and business stakeholders
Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Coordinate application rollouts and client-facing testing cycles
Track and manage integration requests using JIRA
Contribute to team runbooks
Project planning, execution and management for Connectivity migrations
Manage multiple concurrent requests in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
1–3 years of professional experience in a technical role — integration support, IT operations, systems analysis, or technical project coordination
Hands-on familiarity with SFTP and comfort working in a Unix/Shell environment
Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and/or SharePoint for task tracking and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with external clients' technical teams
Organized and methodical, with a track record of managing competing priorities independently
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
