Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead data-focused initiatives across analytics and data engineering teams. This role will manage projects using both Agile Scrum and traditional Waterfall methodologies, ensuring delivery of complex, cross-functional programs in a regulated environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics projects
  • Execute Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Manage product backlogs, sprint execution, and team capacity planning using Azure DevOps
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for Waterfall initiatives
  • Coordinate across engineering, analytics, architecture, and business teams to ensure alignment
  • Track risks, dependencies, and issues, driving mitigation and resolution
  • Provide clear status reporting, dashboards, and executive updates
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and hybrid methodologies

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience managing technical projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Strong experience leading Scrum teams and performing Scrum responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting
  • Experience managing data engineering, data platforms, or analytics programs
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Experience tracking project delivery through dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
