Job Responsibility

  • Entra Core Services seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive complex programs for capacity management in support of our global Microsoft Entra Services. The successful candidate will be chartered with delivering critical outcomes for the business units that span 70+ service engineering teams
  • Capacity management is a central function that partners closely with Microsoft Entra service engineering teams, datacenter Capacity Supply Chain & Provisioning, COGS management, as well as the core services’ buildout and automation teams. Programs you own improve our engineering processes – you will make it better to be an engineer at Microsoft Entra. You will make it more efficient to operate hyperscale infrastructure running on millions of cloud instances globally
  • We are looking for a well-rounded capacity planning program manager with strong partner management skills, supply chain knowledge, and the ability to meet our service engineering objectives while optimizing efficiency to ensure that the right capacity is available in the right place at the right time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • Professional experience working in business and operational roles and contributing to a portfolio of programs including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics and/or resources needs for the programs
  • Firsth and professional experience through Applied Science, Data Science or Software Engineering roles
  • Prior experience working in the Identity and/or Security technology domains.
