Our client, a leader in the HCM space is in need of a Technical Program Manager for a 1-2 year contract with a strong likelihood of extension. This individual will be working a hybrid schedule out of Reston VA and will support large-scale federal cloud modernization and infrastructure initiatives. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for driving complex cloud-native, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and platform engineering programs across highly secure federal environments. They will work closely with engineering leadership, cybersecurity teams, and federal stakeholders to align technical execution, manage program delivery, and support modernization initiatives across Kubernetes, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
Job Responsibility
Drive complex cloud-native, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and platform engineering programs across highly secure federal environments
Work closely with engineering leadership, cybersecurity teams, and federal stakeholders to align technical execution, manage program delivery, and support modernization initiatives across Kubernetes, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure environments
Requirements
10+ years of experience in technical program management, infrastructure delivery, cloud-native modernization, or cybersecurity program leadership
Strong experience managing complex cross-functional technical programs supporting engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, and compliance teams
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized workloads, cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, enterprise networking, and infrastructure modernization concepts
Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules, Gantt charts, RAID logs, dependency tracking, executive dashboards, and program reporting
Strong understanding of cloud computing, enterprise architecture, operational readiness, and federal cybersecurity/compliance frameworks
Ability to translate highly technical concepts into executive-level communications, roadmaps, and customer-facing updates
Experience supporting or coordinating programs within federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments
