Job Description

As the Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Vehicle System Integration, you will develop actionable E/E system design roadmaps using our configuration management tools. You will identify execution workloads, align timelines with cross-functional stakeholders, and proactively unblock technical teams by identifying roadblocks related to timing, resources, or missing inputs. You will drive issue reconciliation and support task owners through the execution phase, providing consistent visibility via weekly program management forums. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring seamless communication between Firmware, Hardware, Product, and Mission Planning teams to ensure integrated systems are delivered on time and to specification. A key objective of this role is to propagate lessons learned across these teams to drive efficiency in subsequent development phases.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the Vehicle System Integration and Electrical Architecture timing plan and delivery ensuring alignment across hardware requirements, software/firmware stakeholder needs, and system validation milestones
  • Translate top-down corporate milestones into detailed E/E product roadmaps, technical timelines, and actionable deliverables
  • Work closely with technical leads, component owners, and other program managers to ensure the E/E system design aligns with component development plans and supports V&V (Verification and Validation) activities
  • Maintain critical electrical system design documents, plans and asset controls
  • drive communication channels that ensure every team member understands their specific delivery requirements
  • Proactively identify, raise awareness of, and escalate risks to delivery. Partner with the PMO, Safety, and Manufacturing teams to drive accountability and ensure goals are met
  • Facilitate technical and non-technical discussions to align team perspectives
  • support the development of options matrices to help the cross-functional team make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Provide concise, high-impact communications to key stakeholders regarding program status, risks, and accomplishments via written reports and presentations
  • Establish a disciplined business and meeting cadence, ensuring focused agendas for critical topics and driving the continuous improvement of development processes and "Lessons Learned" propagation

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of experience, with 5+ years specifically in Technical Program Management within a hardware/software environment
  • Proven track record in vehicle E/E system design, electrical integration, or managing complex HW/SW interfaces
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet) and experience with Configuration Management
  • Strong track record of driving complex, cross-functional projects from requirements through validation
  • Ability to thrive in rapid design cycles
