Job Description:

The Meta Product Technical Program Management (TPM) community is pioneering technologies to bring people (and businesses) closer together at a global scale. TPMs work at the cross-section between technical execution and business strategy and are expected to partner closely with Engineering and Product teams. Being a TPM at Meta means driving impact by delivering measurable results across a wide range of areas. You'll be responsible for defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps, monitoring and communicating progress, and defining functional requirements for new products and features. It also means having a technical background, understanding system architecture, and the experience to effectively collaborate across functions and organizations to deliver impact. This posting represents different full-time roles across Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL) Infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to define program requirements, prioritize initiatives, and establish scope, including developing the roadmap and long-term strategy for partnered teams
  • Effectively manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes by optimizing scope, schedule, and resource allocation as needed
  • Create and manage communication plans to proactively and effectively convey program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to lead technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
  • Define and track key metrics, quality indicators, and performance benchmarks while driving cross-functional execution of program deliverables
  • Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, and critical infrastructure challenges in collaboration with engineering leaders and stakeholders
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions, focusing on reducing manual efforts through automation

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience
  • Experience managing the delivery of complex technical programs or products from inception through to successful delivery
  • Experience in implementing monitoring systems and instrumentation solutions to track performance and identify issues
  • Familiarity with technical program management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, to drive project success and ensure efficient execution
  • Demonstrates initiative, proactively seeks feedback to ensure alignment, and drives successful outcomes
  • Proven track record of leading by influencing others rather than relying on direct authority, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating and collaborating with technical management teams to design, develop, and implement systems, solutions, and products
  • Proven experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving, particularly with large-scale systems
  • Experience building and maintaining work relationships across multidisciplinary teams and with partners in different time zones

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a start-up-like environment, emphasizing technical infrastructure management, where agility and rapid execution are essential for scaling systems and tackling growth-related challenges
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure software programs, especially those focused on AI/ML
