Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Amazon internships for any season are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work in-office Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the Amazon work-day. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. You will be able to provide your preference of location and start date during the application process but, we cannot guarantee that we can meet your selection based on several factors including but not limited to the availability and business needs of this role. Finalization on the location and start dates available will be provided to you at the time of job offer. Job Responsibility:
Collaborate and partner with business teams to define and solve problems that impact customers
Define project requirements and work to clarify the technical implementation by driving design discussions
Identify predictors and causes of business related problems and implement novel approaches related to forecasting and prediction
Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations
Build relationships, identify stakeholders, and influence other teams across organizations and external teams
Define analytical approaches to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve processes
Influence technology at the component level
Interface with engineering disciplines to deliver project requirements
Requirements:
Are 18 years of age or older
Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a 12 week internship maximum
Are enrolled in a academic program that is physically located in the United States
Experience previously in program or project management
Bachelor's degree or above in a technical or engineering related field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
Have an expected conferral date October 2026 – December 2028.

Knowledge of industry technologies in program or product domain (e.g., hardware, network, software, systems) and how to apply those technologies to solve problems
Knowledge of collecting data from log files, data stores, SQL, and APIs
Experience transforming raw thoughts into clear technical documentation and/or direction.
