Job Description:

The Technical Product Senior Owner - Inventory is responsible for the technical components of the system’s capabilities and functions at Circle K. This role partners with functional stakeholders from various departments to define a priority roadmap and delivers technical capabilities. The position includes managing goals, creating a roadmap, working closely with teams, understanding and implementing data-driven features, and managing funding and budgets.

Job Responsibility:

Manages the goals and vision for the product and serves as the bridge between stakeholders and technical resources
Develops and maintains a product roadmap that outlines key milestones, features, and release timelines
Working closely with engineers, designers, developers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders ensures effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle
Deep Understanding of Data required for the implementation of new functions
Translates technical requirements into product features
They articulate precise specifications and features, ensuring alignment with customer needs
Communicates the product vision and strategy to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers
Works with stakeholders to get funding approval and to manage the budget associated with continued development of the system
Manages the technical delivery of improvements and works with operations to implement the capabilities effectively

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business)
Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, preferably in a technical or software-related domain
Understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear directives for development teams
