Job Description

The Technical Product Senior Owner - Inventory is responsible for the technical components of the system’s capabilities and functions at Circle K. This role partners with functional stakeholders from various departments to define a priority roadmap and delivers technical capabilities. The position includes managing goals, creating a roadmap, working closely with teams, understanding and implementing data-driven features, and managing funding and budgets.

Job Responsibility

  • Manages the goals and vision for the product and serves as the bridge between stakeholders and technical resources
  • Develops and maintains a product roadmap that outlines key milestones, features, and release timelines
  • Working closely with engineers, designers, developers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders ensures effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Deep Understanding of Data required for the implementation of new functions
  • Translates technical requirements into product features
  • They articulate precise specifications and features, ensuring alignment with customer needs
  • Communicates the product vision and strategy to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers
  • Works with stakeholders to get funding approval and to manage the budget associated with continued development of the system
  • Manages the technical delivery of improvements and works with operations to implement the capabilities effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business)
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, preferably in a technical or software-related domain
  • Understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear directives for development teams
