Job Description:

Technical Product Owner for Fuel Terminal IT/OT (Germany) ensures the quality, stability, and technical integrity of the managed IT and OT environment in Circle K Fuel Terminals in Germany. The role combines strong technical expertise with good coordination-, and communication skills, to maintain a stable and compliant IT/OT environment in the terminals, and to provide a general support capability for terminal operations and terminal operators.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of Fuel Terminal IT/OT systems in Germany, mainly for OpenTAS (Terminal Automation System)
  • Support daily terminal operations in Germany by monitoring system performance, handling incidents and requests, following up on problems
  • Manage change through Circle K ITILv4 based Change Management processes
  • Develop and follow up on capacity planning for own portfolio
  • Develop and maintain system disaster recovery plans in collaboration with relevant subject matter expert teams
  • Ensure security compliance through planning and implementation of system patches and updates
  • Build and maintain relevant system documentation
  • Follow-up closely on deliveries and quality from relevant external suppliers
  • Keep control of external costs for own area according to budgets
  • Receive and approve project deliveries going into production

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electro Engineering, or related field
  • At least 2 years of hands on experience with industrial IT and OT solutions, preferably with technology related to oil & gas industry
  • Good business understanding and commercial awareness
  • Hands on experience with software procurement and lifecycle management through requirements capture, testing, validation, and verification
  • Extensive outsourcing and vendor management experience
  • Experience in establishing, measuring, and reporting KPI’s for IT services and software
  • Familiar with working in matrix organizations
  • Experience in ITILv4 and ITSM principles and processes
  • German C1 level written and spoken language skills
  • English C1 level written and spoken language skills
