Job Description

Fraud Technology has an ambitious delivery agenda, providing leading-edge fraud solutions to both Barclays UK and Barclays International. As a Technical Product owner, you should be multi-skilled, product-focused for shaping and prioritising new initiatives and changes, while meeting Agile delivery principles and forming deep product knowledge in the fraud detection and card space.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap
  • Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development
  • Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure
  • Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance
  • Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery

Requirements

  • Hands on knowledge of managing end to end Fraud detection product delivery back-end journeys in BAFI
  • Own and evolve the Fraud Detection product vision, define and maintain product roadmaps, produce MVP, business capabilities, fraud loss reduction, customer experience, and technical sustainability objectives
  • Create business user stories, high level process flows to enable engagement with delivery squad
  • Provide ongoing support throughout build and create data dictionary and validation of data for business capabilities
  • Drive backlog management, refinement, support agile ceremonies, stakeholder expectation management and understanding of fraud risk & control framework
