Job Description:

Join us at Barclays as a Technical Product Owner, to support BOLT/ CFI Agent Desktop. As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering critical platform capabilities across our issuing technology landscape. You will partner with engineering teams, senior stakeholders, and strategic suppliers to ensure delivery excellence while driving innovation and transformation across the organisation.

Job Responsibility:

Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development
Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team
Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure
Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance
Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards
Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery

Requirements:

Poven ability to manage and challenge engineering and platform teams to ensure timely delivery, removal of blockers, and consistent high performance
Strong incident management and prioritisation experience, including coordinating cross-team resolution and applying risk-based decision making
Demonstrated ability to manage supply and demand across multiple delivery teams and partners, maintaining transparency of capacity and priorities
Strategic mindset with the ability to collaborate across organisational functions to shape long-term product and technology roadmaps
Strong leadership presence with the confidence and credibility to influence senior stakeholders and drive complex change initiatives

Nice to have:

Deep understanding of the Barclays Issuing technology landscape, including alignment with CISO standards, controls, and governance expectations
Proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-scale change initiatives across both Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks
Professional certification such as SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), ICAgile Product Ownership Certification, or equivalent
