Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager/Owner to oversee and enhance the Oracle HCM Cloud system for a leading institution in Tampa, Florida. This role requires a deep understanding of HR, Payroll, and Benefits processes, coupled with expertise in managing product backlogs and collaborating with Agile teams. As a long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the system evolves to meet organizational needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary Product Owner for the Oracle HCM Cloud system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Evaluate and implement Oracle HCM quarterly updates, ensuring optimal system performance and compliance
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, creating detailed user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate closely with Agile or hybrid teams to deliver system enhancements and resolve issues
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders, gathering requirements and providing updates on progress
  • Lead discussions to identify and address system bugs using tools like Atlassian Jira
  • Support HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams by ensuring the system meets functional needs
  • Conduct regular grooming sessions for the backlog to maintain clarity and focus
  • Drive decision-making processes to deliver high-quality solutions within set timelines
  • Ensure robust documentation of processes and system changes for future reference

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably with Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Strong functional knowledge of HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Atlassian Jira
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience implementing quarterly system updates for Oracle HCM
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and resolution processes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
