Storyblok is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to drive product-led growth for our marketing leading CMS. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in positioning Storyblok as the preferred choice for developers and content creators. Your responsibilities will include developing go-to-market strategies, creating compelling product messaging, and driving customer acquisition and engagement. You will also collaborate closely with product management, and our marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing growth.
Job Responsibility:
Developer Journey Optimization: Optimize the end-to-end developer onboarding experience, reducing friction from sign-up to first successful implementation
Identify drop-off points in technical setup flows and partner with Product and Engineering to improve clarity, guidance, and time-to-first-value
Strengthen technical persona messaging for developers, architects, and technical decision-makers by translating complex capabilities into clear, value-driven communication
Website & Conversion Ownership: Own key landing pages, such as the homepage, and the evolution of the website’s messaging architecture
Partner with Web and Growth teams to optimize key conversion journeys (trial sign-up, demo requests, upgrade flows)
Write and design email nurture campaigns to guide users through onboarding and support feature adoption, self-service conversion, and customer retention goals
Data-Informed Decision Making: Partner with the Data team to analyze patterns in PLG user behavior and identify areas of dropoff or opportunities for improvement
Own the experimentation roadmap for PLG opportunities across awareness, onboarding, feature adoption, upgrade prompts, and retention initiatives
Partner with Product and Growth teams to define clear hypotheses, success metrics, and testing priorities
Drive A/B tests for website, in-app experiences, email communications, onboarding flows, monetization prompts, and feature announcements
In-App Messaging & UX Execution: Plan and execute in-app messaging (feature announcements, tooltips, banners, modals, onboarding flows)
Partner with Product and Design to ensure UX flows reinforce core value propositions
Align in-app messaging with campaign narratives and product launches
Onboarding & Activation Optimization: Improve onboarding flows across key user segments
Identify drop-off points in product and communication bumpers, and propose improvements spanning UX, messaging, activation content, and prospect/customer communications and outreach campaigns
Self-Service Positioning & Messaging: Develop and refine buyer personas specific to self-serve and PLG audiences
Partner with Product and Design to ensure UX flows reinforce core value propositions within a seamless and goal-oriented user journey
Translate product capabilities into clear, actionable value for different user types, using UX and messaging to guide user awareness and adoption
Plan and execute in-app messaging (feature announcements, tooltips, banners, modals, onboarding flows)
Align in-app messaging and product experiences with marketing campaign narratives, product launches, website content
Requirements:
Marketing or related educational degree
5+ years’ experience as a product marketing manager, ideally in PLG/self-service B2B SaaS business
Track record of successfully implementing a PLG framework, data-driven measurability, as well as go-to-market and product marketing campaigns
Deep understanding for our business, customers, partners, and the larger ecosystem
Ability to combine analytical thinking with creative messaging
Hands-on mentality
Passionate about analyzing data and optimizing user experience
