Join our client, one of Malta's largest financial services firms that helped shape the Maltese financial services landscape since 1971. In this on-site Technical Product Manager role, you will help steer the development of a high‑impact platform, working with a diverse team to turn ideas into features that serve customers and meet regulatory needs. You report to the Product Manager and collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and architects to deliver reliable, scalable software on the Microsoft .NET stack, while shaping product strategy and the roadmap for investments and payments services.
Job Responsibility:
Define product requirements and user stories in collaboration with stakeholders, and prioritise the backlog to align with sprint goals
Provide product direction with technical insight, balancing customer value with quality, scalability, and security
Coordinate day-to-day development work through stand-ups, track progress using dashboards, and establish KPIs and alert thresholds to protect production systems
Foster collaboration across software developers, business analysts, and software architects
refine and maintain integrations between systems
Support recruitment and talent development, mentoring team members and helping others grow their skills
Requirements:
Degree level in software development, computer science, or a related discipline
Experience with TDD is essential
Experience in a banking or financial services company, ideally with investments
At least 5 years’ experience in software development using C#, .NET, and SQL Server
Proven ability to lead and influence teams, manage delivery of projects in a structured environment, and plan personal development for colleagues
Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, and excellent written and spoken communication
