Your future: After graduating, you can take the master craftsman's examination, continue your education as a technician, or start working on a college degree, for example, in mechatronics.

Job Responsibility

  • Use 3-D CAD systems to construct drawings and models for components and component groups
  • prepare technical documents and presentations
  • work with plastic parts as well as electrical and electronic components
  • provide support in interior development and toolmaking

Requirements

  • At least a school leaving certificate comparable with a US High School Diploma or the British GCSE (“mittlere Reife” in Germany)
  • good in math
