Job Description

Become Technical Operator in a High-Tech Indoor Farm! After an intensive training period, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the installations. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the production process runs smoothly. Contribute to the future of sustainable agriculture in a unique environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing the entire production process
  • Proactively solving problems and resolving malfunctions
  • Performing quality checks
  • Complying with food safety, quality standards, and HACCP
  • Contributing ideas for improvement processes and implementing improvements to achieve efficiency, yield, and quality.

Requirements

  • MBO+ work and thinking level
  • Experience in process technology, preferably in the food industry
  • Knowledge of safe working practices, food safety and/or HACCP
  • A problem-solving, result-oriented, and independent ability
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

Nice to have

Knowledge of German is a plus.

  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to reduce unplanned breakdowns
  • Operate and optimise key equipment including TNA baggers, Pace baggers, Yamato weighers, checkweighers, and Markem coders, Endoline tapers
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to plan repairs
  • Respond to breakdowns using Redzone, PPM completion logs, and machine performance data in Redzone and other reporting tools
  • Support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to reduce downtime, minimise waste, and improve OEE
  • Share knowledge, mentor operators where needed, and support cross-training within the team
