The Technical Operator is responsible for executing line operations, implementing cleaning regimes, and performing basic maintenance activities to ensure the safe delivery of high-quality packed products. As a key member of the operations team, the Technical Operator plays a critical role in maintaining machine safety, promptly identifying abnormalities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong technical expertise in packaging machinery, proven experience in FMCG food production, and a solid understanding of preventive maintenance, safety, and quality compliance standards.
Job Responsibility:
Equipment Operation: Operate, control, and monitor specialized machinery and computer-controlled systems
Setup & Configuration: Perform setup, calibration, and adjustments to meet production requirements
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Detect and resolve deviations, malfunctions, or technical issues
Quality Assurance: Conduct checks to ensure products meet standards and specifications
Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
Data Management: Record operational and maintenance data, generate reports, and maintain records
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and technical teams to optimize performance
Training & Development: Continuously update technical knowledge and adapt to new technologies
Requirements:
Minimum OND in Science/Engineering-related fields
1–2 years in FMCG Manufacturing, preferably packaging
