Job Responsibility:

  • Build and implement interactive animations using Rive across product surfaces
  • Translate motion concepts into production-ready assets
  • Own animation logic, state machines, and databinds inside Rive
  • Optimize for performance, scalability, and reusability
  • Help define best practices for how motion is built and implemented with Rive
  • Build tools that can be used by designers to modify Rive files at runtime

Requirements:

  • Strong front-end engineering skills, with a preference for JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with Rive, including state machines, advanced databinds, logic, and complex interactive animation systems
  • Solid understanding of animation principles such as timing, easing, and choreography
  • Experience integrating animation into real products
  • Ability to debug, iterate, and refine motion directly in code
  • Must be comfortable working between design and engineering teams

Nice to have:

  • Experience with React, React Native, or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with animation tools like After Effects
  • Experience building design systems or reusable motion systems
  • Interest in real-time, interactive, or generative animation
