Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Technical Manager to join our Renewable Energy team, part of our Energy Division based in Madrid, Spain. By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in driving the construction processes for our renewable energy projects, contributing to our mission of sustainable energy generation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Liaising with local agencies, DNOs, and other stakeholders to clarify local processes and requirements
  • Providing critical technical insights to local site teams before the start of construction to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Supporting the Project Management and Construction teams with technical details throughout the project
  • Leading the start-up process of projects, defining the steps for commissioning, and ensuring the sites are ready for commissioning
  • Acting as the main technical point of contact for local investors' technical teams and collaborating with the Engineering Department to resolve issues in the best interest of the company
  • Assisting local project management teams in preparing the tender by clarifying the technical scope and reviewing the technical aspects of the bid
  • Helping the project management team define the technical scope for subcontractors after working with the engineering department

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience leading and managing PV plants
  • Technical background in Industrial, Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional people skills—adaptable, client-focused, and skilled at building strong relationships with teams and third parties
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of High Voltage substations
  • Portuguese proficiency
