Job Responsibility

  • Take overall responsibility for and ensure the smooth operation of the hotel’s entire technical infrastructure, including building systems, operational equipment, safety systems, air-conditioning, energy, and event technology
  • Lead and develop your three-person technical team, including duty scheduling, conducting employee appraisals, and fostering individual strengths and skills
  • Involved in annual budgeting and responsible for planning and implementing maintenance, repair, and investment measures
  • Maintain close cooperation with external service providers and maintenance companies
  • Ensure all legal requirements and safety standards are complied with and take care of documentation and inspection records
  • Together with technical team, make sure all equipment in the hotel is functioning at all times

Requirements

  • Completed technical training, ideally in building services engineering
  • several years of professional experience
  • preferably experience from the hotel industry or a comparable service-oriented environment
  • sound specialist knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection, and sanitary technology
  • communicative and open-minded
  • IT-savvy and confident in using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • actively contributes new ideas in line with sustainability strategy and ESG goals
