Join us and help build a better, more sustainable society. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technical Manager to join our Building Services team in London.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert guidance on mechanical, ventilation, POLs and pressure systems
  • Support and strengthen design management processes across Building Services by reviewing solutions, challenging designs
  • Carry out site inspections and audits to confirm systems and procedures are effective, safe, and compliant
  • Oversee training for safe systems of work, including AP training, and facilitate workshops
  • Advise the engineering department and wider project teams, develop energy-reduction and decarbonisation plans

Requirements:

  • Pressure systems know-how – understanding of Pressure Systems Regulations
  • Design expertise with real impact – strong knowledge of design processes and industry guidance (CIBSE, BESA, BSRIA), especially for heat pumps, heating systems, and water quality
  • Working knowledge of HTMs, BG/29, BG/50, and JSP standards
  • Data skills that drive decisions – confident using Excel and Power BI to analyse information
  • Digital tools for better teamwork – know your way around SharePoint, building automated workflows and dashboards
  • Professional credibility – chartership status
