Job Description

Join our Technical Support team and collaborate with global colleagues across Etex. As a Technical Leader, you will play a key role in resolving daily customer enquiries and providing expert guidance. Working closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Brand Managers, you’ll contribute to customer experience projects requiring technical input. You will also stay ahead of regulatory developments and industry trends to support ongoing technical, product, and marketing initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the development of Viriform technical support for engineers, installers, detailers, and fabricators
  • Support the launch and promotion of our new purlin offering to the market
  • Develop and maintain the technical library, ensuring details and specifications are accurate and aligned with market expectations
  • Collaborate with the Brand Manager on projects requiring technical input, including product literature, website content, and technical applications
  • Prepare technical content for marketing initiatives such as blogs, CPDs, and other educational materials
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, providing technical training to marketing and sales teams as needed
  • Deliver technical and practical demonstrations to students, architects, and roofing contractors occasionally
  • Provide day-to-day support within the technical team for customer and internal technical enquiries
  • Undertake additional duties as reasonably required, including participation in weekend trade shows and other events

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar technical manager level position within the construction industry
  • Strong leadership skills and ambition to create a top-class technical team
  • Ability to identify and introduce new initiatives and efficiencies across the department
  • Proven ability of improving customer experience within an organisation through technical developments
  • Interpersonal, communication and organisation skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Presentation skills
