Job Responsibility:

  • Analyzing customer requirements, Converting Customer Requirements into Design and Code
  • Responsible for developing code in Java, C & C++ language
  • Analysis and resolution of customer and internal reported issues
  • Support Software integration activity
  • Responsible for Software module testing (functional, Unit / integration testing)
  • Should understand and involve in various KPIs including certification activities/process
  • Monitor Android Automotive trends, roadmaps
  • Technically guide the team and to actively interact with Customer and other Stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years Android/QNX development experience (Application, Services, HAL, BSP in Android specific to Audio)
  • Expertise in OOP concepts
  • Expertise in Java, C, C++ development
  • Kotlin would be an advantage
  • Expertise in Android Framework API & Automotive Audio Framework usage
  • Expertise on Android AOSP build system
  • Proficiency in audio design/architecture on multiple platforms
  • Hands on experience on industry leading SoCs in automotive sector
  • In-depth knowledge on all the standard and time & safety critical audio features
  • Strong knowledge of Android Audio Framework, audio policy manager, audio flinger, android HAL, media server, and audio server
  • Proficient in leading the designs that can meet Android Auto and CarPlay certifications and its related design
  • In-depth design knowledge on audio routing, echo canceller integration, DSP driver, A2B driver, Class D/AB amplifier drivers
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of Android development, and debugging tools
  • Have good knowledge on the audio architecture design in hypervisor based system
  • Strong record in product launch experience
  • Good to have knowledge of creating detailed SW architecture, requirements, and design documents
  • Good to have knowledge of UNIX, and Linux
  • Decision making abilities on the architecture level and providing proposals to customer
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum processes for Project Development
  • Ability to lead the team and handle customer milestones from the technical standpoint
  • Experience in realizing KPIs as per Apple(CarPlay) ,Google (AndroidAuto) and Amazon (Alexa) requirements
  • Experience in the certification of infotainment product in the areas like APQM, ITUT and Audio Tuning
  • Skills for analyzing and fixing any issues in Android Framework or service layer
  • Tools – GIT, Geritt, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Android Studio, VSCode, Enterprise Architect (UML), VMWare, Coverity
  • Knowledge of Google Test Framework and testing frameworks used in Android like Junit, Mockito
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills, complete ownership of the building blocks
  • Good Team player and should follow agile development methodologies as part of SW development life cycle
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and energetic
  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics /Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science > 60% aggregate starting from Class X till UG/PG
  • 7+ years and above of relevant experience

Nice to have:

  • Kotlin would be an advantage
  • Good to have knowledge of creating detailed SW architecture, requirements, and design documents
  • Good to have knowledge of UNIX, and Linux
