Technical lead

• People and resource management for the Engineering and Computing area
• Providing technical support within their area of expertise across all university campuses
• Line management responsibilities for a team of technicians
• Travel to City and Springfield campus regularly to support team members

• Educated to BSc level or equivalent with significant practical and technical knowledge of the respected area of the role
• Understanding of general safe working practices and all associated UK health and safety legislation
• Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to develop successful partnerships with staff and students
• Competent and flexible, willing to work in any laboratory, workshop or classroom relative to their experience and expertise
