They ensure that each event is flawlessly executed, and work with the rest of the team to setup and strike down each event in a timely manner. At Encore, customer satisfaction is our highest priority, our Technicians play an integral part in establishing a positive relationship with each of our clients. The Technical Lead is responsible for intermediate level set up and operation of small to large-scale audio-visual systems in an event environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position reports to a Technical Supervisor, Technical Manager, Technical Events Manager or Senior Project Manager subject to function/region.
Job Responsibility:
Intermediate level set up and operation of small to large-scale audio-visual systems in an event environment
Ensure complete customer satisfaction
Equipment Operation: FOH setting up and operating mixing consoles
Building RF systems
Building and tuning PA systems
Setting up comms systems
Setting up line systems and mics for live acts
Operating monitors for live acts
Leading teams on builds, shows and derig
Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly
Complies with all Company security and safety measures
Ensures equipment is secure from theft and/or damage
Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE
Report all health and safety issues
Customer Service: Provides excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers
Be a leader, mentor and coach for other Technicians
Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication
Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly
Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day
Understands and fosters the hotel/client relationship.
