Job Description

Lead a team of 2–4 developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship. Drive end-to-end delivery of applications from design through deployment across development and production environments. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with frontend teams working with Angular and React applications. Develop and support cloud-native solutions on AWS environments. Participate in architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and solution design. Own and maintain technical documentation, architecture specifications, and system roadmaps. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions. Ensure application security, performance, reliability, and maintainability. Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Collaborate closely with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Promote best practices in software engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Application Development, or Technical Leadership roles
  • Previous experience leading development teams or owning technical delivery end-to-end
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Practical experience with AWS cloud services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, or Aurora
  • Working knowledge of Angular, React, or modern frontend frameworks
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
  • Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, and cloud-native development
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Node.js or Python is a plus
  • Experience in regulated industries such as Insurance, Banking, Healthcare, or Financial Services is advantageous
