Job Description:

Andersen is looking for an Technical Lead (React+ Next.js ) to advance the customer’s AI roadmap by integrating AI tools into engineering workflows, accelerating delivery, automation, and overall development efficiency. The customer is a digital solutions provider focused on high-performance development, AI-enhanced optimization, and modern commerce platforms. The organization delivers measurable results through advanced engineering and microservices-based architectures across various industries. The project is focused on driving the organization’s AI enablement roadmap by accelerating both cultural and technical adoption of AI tools. The goal is to help teams integrate solutions like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and v0 into their workflows to reduce delivery time, automate documentation and testing, and shift engineering efforts toward higher-impact problem solving.

Job Responsibility:

  • Driving AI adoption and culture by communicating the vision, demonstrating value, and ensuring engineers understand how AI enhances velocity and quality of work
  • Leading and guiding a distributed engineering team of 10+ developers, fostering continuous learning and accountability to AI-augmented engineering standards
  • Redefining the SDLC to include AI checkpoints and creating workflows where AI handles unit test generation, technical documentation, and changelogs
  • Directing deep research strategies by guiding the team on using AI agents for technical research, library selection, security, and performance analysis
  • Mentoring engineers to transition from traditional coding practices to modern, AI-assisted development
  • Architecting complex, scalable web applications using Next.js, the App Router, Server Components, and the Vercel ecosystem
  • Coding high-complexity features and resolving critical blockers requiring deep expertise
  • Utilizing AI to pre-review pull requests for standards compliance, security, and performance to accelerate code review velocity and focus human review on logic and intent

Requirements:

  • Experience in modern JavaScript with deep expertise in Next.js, including App Router, Middleware, ISR/SSG, and Vercel deployment pipelines for 5+ years
  • Experience in a Tech Lead role
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams, with the ability to build consensus, drive adoption of new technologies, and manage team performance
  • Hands-on, daily use of AI tooling such as Cursor, Copilot, v0, or similar platforms, with a strong understanding of prompt engineering strategies for code generation and context management
  • Demonstrated ability to accelerate engineering velocity by leveraging tools and processes to speed up not only coding, but the entire delivery pipeline
  • Ability to guide teams through technical changes, overcome resistance, and foster excitement around new ways of working
  • Level of English – from Intermediate and above

Nice to have:

  • Experience implementing agentic workflows
  • Experience using v0 for rapid UI generation and iteration
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright, including automating testing through AI
  • Strong background in TypeScript and strict typing systems
