Job Description

As Meta’s datacenter infrastructure grows rapidly in scope and scale, the increased technical complexity and velocity of new product introductions requires organization and integration of activities across numerous internal and external teams and manufacturing sites. Meta’s Infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced New Product Introduction Program Manager to act as Technical Lead for the Network Hardware teams. They will act as a single-threaded owner for these groups across the Supply Chain organization, to successfully navigate an ambiguous development environment, and to bring clarity and alignment which ensures New Product Introduction (NPI) Roadmap success. As the Network is essential to every mega cluster and Meta’s data center success, its roadmap is rapidly expanding in volume, supplier options, and NPI time-to-market needs. This PM must proactively drive Infra Supply Chain & Engineering (ISCE) readiness, create synergies across NPI verticals (GPU, MTIA, Compute, Storage, Thermal, Power, Network), and ensure ongoing mass production ramp readiness despite shorter NPI schedules. Success requires cross-ISCE collaboration (Commodity, Commercial, Technical Sourcing, Demand & Supply Planning, Product Quality Engineering, Sustaining) and the capacity to influence cross-functional partners (Technical PM, Hardware & Software Engineering, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Compliance) across multiple domains.

Job Responsibility

  • Apply hands-on program management skills and techniques to drive overall schedule, build & test readiness, factory readiness, material readiness, and risk management, internal and external escalations and program communications to achieve on-time and on-quality execution of NPI builds for AI compute, storage and network hardware programs
  • Provide technical leadership to all NPI PMs as they bring Network NPIs from concept to Mass Production (MP) exit, optimize performance, and enable supply chain synergies from program to program by leveraging data-driven insights and collaborative partnership
  • Act as primary liaison between Meta’s Network Supply Chain organization and all internal and external partners for covered programs, by owning the program communication strategy and execution
  • Constructively influence partners into simplifying direction on programs to remove supply chain risk
  • Drive multiple teams through high-level risk management by leveraging synergies across all ISCE Network programs, schedule input, and ODMs (Original Design Manufacturer)
  • Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, manufacturing issues, and quality concerns by assessing circumstances, capabilities (of multiple parties), and learnings from historical data
  • Drive Supply Chain decisions, influence strategic investments of limited resources, and offer clear context and narratives to directly impact the NPI program direction, broader product cycles, and goals for multiple programs across the larger Infra organization
  • Mobilize and create new teams to align with organizational needs and strategies, and to driving process improvements and innovations
  • Own and drive program escalations across Meta internal and external teams and partners
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with commercial/technical sourcing, engineering, operations, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions between phases
  • Support ISCE in building resilient, and responsive supply chains that meet the evolving needs of our cross-functional partners
  • Drive build readiness including all Supply Chain deliverables and daily build issue debug cadence across Meta’s Supply Chain and internal and external engineering and manufacturing partners
  • Drive factory ramp readiness with internal and external engineering and manufacturing partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Expertise with general Program Management best practices in multi-organizational and multi-national technical environments, leveraging prior experience as an engineer or manufacturing engineer (in AI, compute, or networking hardware)
