Job Description

The Technical Lead Logistics & RTM role involves leading the validation and realization of proof of concepts, prototypes, and MVPs from a technical perspective. The Technical Lead oversees code quality, resolves complex technical problems, and ensures that software meets functional and non-functional requirements

Job Responsibility

  • Alignment of software development with architectural vision and strategic goals
  • Resolution of complex technical issues, minimizing project delays and risks

  • Successful implementation of proof of concepts, prototypes, pilots, and MVPs
  • Clear and effective communication between development teams and stakeholders
  • Efficient project task and milestone management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting enterprise-level applications
  • Proven ability to manage complex (onboarding) scenarios involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience in change management with the ability to understand and drive process changes
  • Expertise in web services development and integration
  • Hands-on experience with SAP LETRA or SAP LMD, SAP TM, SAP WM/EWM and MM in SAP S/4HANA
  • Proficiency in various programming languages and tools relevant to the projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges
  • Excellent coding skills and understanding of coding best practices
  • Familiarity with architectural styles and design patterns
  • Experience with code review tools and techniques
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Define and continuously improve the end-to-end route-to-market model — from manufacturing plants to customers — aligning service levels, cost-to-serve, and business priorities.
  • Lead long-term network optimization: fleet strategy, depot footprint, and delivery channel configuration (direct store delivery, distribution partners, rural expansion).
  • Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to translate market strategy into efficient and profitable logistics design.
  • Drive logistics execution excellence across all delivery routes and 3PL partners, ensuring on-time delivery, productivity, and cost optimization.
  • Establish and monitor key logistics KPIs: cost per case/km, drop size, service level, route efficiency, and vehicle utilization.
  • Lead structured reviews and improvement programs focused on cost-to-serve reduction and service enhancement.
  • Champion digital and analytics transformation in route optimization, GPS tracking, and planning systems.
  • Introduce continuous improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma) and foster a culture of performance and accountability.
  • Build RTM capability within the logistics team — developing talent, future leaders, and technical expertise.
  • Act as the key interface between Supply Chain, Commercial, Planning, and Finance for route-to-market decisions.

  • Perform thermal validation using Kaye AVS v1.4+ (or equivalent)
