ASML is a global leader in semiconductor technology. To support the growing complexity of our service supply chain, we are looking for a Technical Lead – Supply Chain Automation & Architecture. In this role, you will design and guide the technical architecture for automation solutions supporting our global field planning processes. Your work will focus on custom Java-based applications, automation scripts, and the testing frameworks that ensure they are robust, scalable, and future-ready.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design the architecture for custom Java-based applications and automation tools supporting tactical and operational field planning
  • Define test strategies, frameworks, and guidelines to improve reliability, maintainability, and scalability of applications
  • Ensure seamless integration with SAP and other core systems while adhering to ASML’s security and performance standards
  • Align custom-built solutions with ASML enterprise architecture principles
  • Mentor developers in test-driven development (TDD) and best practices for automated testing
  • Lead technology selection for frameworks, APIs, and cloud-related integrations
  • Assess emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance system scalability and automation performance

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software architecture, technical leadership, or senior Java development
  • Strong expertise in Java-based application development and system design
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit) and CI/CD tooling
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP), API design, and system integration patterns
  • Understanding of architectural frameworks is a plus
  • Experience or strong affinity with supply chain or planning processes is an advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence others without hierarchical power
