Job Description:

In collaboration with department leadership, is responsible for managing and enhancing Laboratory Transfusion Services for Commonspirit Mountain Region's Hospitals. Applies high-level of relevant technical and leadership knowledge. Consults with laboratory leaders on technical processes. Functions in a self-directed manner. Oversees the integration of lab discipline within the hospital, ambulatory, and clinic environment. Assist in development and evaluation of test procedures, maintain an understanding of IT systems and data sources associated with Transfusion Services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and enhancing Laboratory Transfusion Services for Commonspirit Mountain Region's Hospitals
  • Applies high-level of relevant technical and leadership knowledge
  • Consults with laboratory leaders on technical processes
  • Oversees the integration of lab discipline within the hospital, ambulatory, and clinic environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in a Science field
  • 5 years clinical laboratory experience
  • MLT or MLS/MT, from ASCP
  • Master degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Business, Healthcare Management, or related field, preferred
  • Doctorate degree in applied clinical discipline- preferred
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or other process improvement training, preferred
  • Certified Project Manager, preferred

  • Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), including damage scenario definition, threat scenario identification, attack path analysis, impact assessment, feasibility analysis, and risk determination
  • Derive and maintain Cybersecurity Goals, Cybersecurity Claims, and Cybersecurity Requirements based on TARA results and project risk treatment decisions
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability between cybersecurity work products, system requirements, technical requirements, and verification activities
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity concepts for existing projects, ensuring alignment with platform constraints, legacy architectures, and product-specific requirements
  • Coordinate with system, software, hardware, diagnostics, validation, and project teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are feasible, consistent, and properly deployed
  • Ensure all required cybersecurity documentation and evidence are prepared and maintained to support project assessments, audits, and release milestones
