Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Lisle, Illinois. In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with clients, expand the sales pipeline, and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about sales, customer engagement, and working within a scientific B2B service setting.
Job Responsibility:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s testing services and product portfolio
Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales opportunities using CRM tools such as HubSpot
Identify new prospects and guide them through the sales process to build a strong pipeline
Foster and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions
Conduct research on leads generated from campaigns and other sources to customize outreach strategies
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and relevant market developments
Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calls and other outreach methods to identify new business opportunities
Support the sales and business development team with additional duties as needed to achieve organizational goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales or a related role, with a proven track record of success
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot is preferred
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
High level of initiative, adaptability, and self-motivation
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
