Our client, a leading family-owned business in the metal processing industry, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Lachine. In this role, there is no cold calling; instead, you will act as a true technical project manager, bridging the gap between specific customer needs and factory production.
Job Responsibility:
Manage incoming quote requests from customers via phone and email
Analyze technical drawings and collaborate with the Lachine workshop to validate project feasibility
Prepare accurate quotes and ensure rigorous follow-up throughout the sales cycle
Work in close collaboration with the drafting, purchasing, and production departments
Advise clients on the best technical options for their custom projects
Requirements:
Bilingualism is essential (French and English), both spoken and written
Excellent mathematical skills and a strong interest in reading technical blueprints
Proactive personality, team spirit, and above all, high 'coachability' (a strong desire to learn)
Ability to work on-site full-time at the Lachine headquarters
Nice to have:
Previous experience in the industrial, metal, or construction sectors is considered a significant asset
