Deel is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Projects Engineer who thrives in the High-Stakes environment of Mergers & Acquisitions and complex system architecture. You will be the lead engineer responsible for the technical marriage of newly acquired companies into the Deel ecosystem. Your mission is to ensure that on acquisition, users, data, and security protocols are migrated seamlessly with zero downtime and total compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the technical execution of migrating users and data across disparate environments
Architect and implement complex Okta integrations
Build (or work with the automations team) and maintain the automation glue that connects internal systems, Okta, and Google Workspace
Act as the lead engineer for post-merger integration (PMI)
Work with the Security team to ensure that all newly integrated systems and devices meet Deel’s Zero-Trust standards
Create high-level technical diagrams and Playbooks for M&A integration
Requirements:
Deep, hands-on experience with Okta (specifically Org 2 Org migrations and advanced SAML/OIDC troubleshooting)
Proven experience managing and migrating Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments at an enterprise scale
Experience with IPaaS platforms (Workato, Okta Workflows) and a strong command of APIs (REST/JSON)
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, Go, JavaScript)
Understanding of AWS or GCP environments as they relate to corporate identity and networking
Ability to dive deep into a complex M&A project for 3 months and then pivot to a different architectural challenge
Ability to explain complex technical migration risks to non-technical M&A leads and executive stakeholders
