Job Description

Sigma Connectivity is seeking an HW/SW Technical Project Manager (TPM) with proven experience in bringing a medical device to market, running FreeRTOS, and other embedded OSs. The team is planning to use AI heavily.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop project plans, schedules, resourcing, budget, project risks, and mitigation plans to bring a B2B device to market using a CM
  • Present regular project plan and status updates to senior management to ensure expectations are met and aligned
  • Lead, improve, and develop projects and thereby create value for our customers
  • Manage technical product development projects in terms of time, quality, and cost
  • Own and drive technical projects with SMEs & cross-functional groups across sites
  • Facilitate & Execute Technical Design reviews and Engineering changes with emphasis on best engineering practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to advance quality processes and capabilities
  • Be open to AI

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of complex technology and business solutions in a client-facing environment
  • Drive, deliver, and proactively report results according to the agreed project scope, cost, quality, and timeline milestones to all project stakeholders
  • Good understanding of the steps involved in bringing a product from concept to production
  • Experience in bringing medical devices to the market
  • Understand the proper application of risk management techniques to ensure business priorities and quality standards are met
  • Extended HW and/or SW development experience
  • Client relationship experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to self-motivate and take responsibility
  • Strong Technical background in project management, operations leadership, continuous improvement, and strategic planning
  • Ability to triangulate information from diverse sources and assimilate them into actionable recommendations

  • 5 years in managing projects/programs, bringing products to market
  • Working knowledge of R&D, Hardware, and Software Development from direct or project-related experiences
